disadvantages of joining in woman engineering colleges ?

In todays present situation, there is almost no differences between men and women when it comes to career, being independent, etc. Nowadays a woman is expected to be strong and independent.
So if you study in a Womens college you won't be prepared for co-ed workplace dynamics and male competition in the workforce. Despite the various pros of studying in a womens college, this one factor has to be considered when you make the decision of joining a college. If you are shy and would want to overcome it and would like to socialise more then I think a Co-Ed option would be a better choice.

There are no disadvantages of women engineering colleges as such, provided you join a reputed college with a good track record of placements and safety. The only drawback you can point at is that it does not provide a Co-ed atmosphere unlike actual engineering or any professional environment and which may reflect poorly if the girl candidate lacks confidence to speak in front of work in professional environment with male colleagues as well.
This drawback can also be overcome with personality developments and correct exposure.
