Dear student, once you clear the NEET-UG, you will have to go through the counselling process and that will decide your college. You need not worry about that, and no need to seperately fill-up forms of other colleges, unless mentioned otherwise.

The main and grass root criteria for joining any medical or dental college is NEET UG exam. Except for that of AIIMS and JIPMER.They conduct their separate exam for admission to mbbs seats.
However you have to specifically apply for various colleges/universities in which you wish to get admitted to.
You have to separately apply for your domiciled state, to avail state quota counselling benifit. You can also apply for afmc, bhu, amu, comedk, manipal, ggsipuetc etc , if you wish to join them.
Score good marks and be in merit list of neet ug exam, you will surely get a good govt. Medical college by this..

Dear sanchita, don't worry. Once you get through the NEET exam there will be a counselling process conducted by the department and everything will be uploaded on the official website. So dont worry about that now. Just focus on the exams and do well.

Yes, after the declaration of the results of NEET-UG, top 12-14k students are shortlisted for All India 15% quota counseling.
You are expected to make a list of the colleges in the decreasing order of your preference, where you wish to seek admission.
Seat will then be allotted to you according to the list of preferences that you submit before the commencement of online counseling procedures.
