Hello Aspirant,

See JOSAA is the central counselling committee for seat allotment in different engineering institutions across the country. It considers both Home state quota as well as All India Quota. JOSAA releases two types of closing rank for a particular category in which one is Home state quota and other is for All India quota. So if you belongs to any particular state and your rank is under the closing rank for Home state quota released by JOSAA then you can get that particular college for which the closing rank has been released.
