Dear Sai, though 15 Private Medical Colleges have been eligible for implementing EWS reservation, only 10 came forward for inplementing this reservation in their respective Colleges. Each Private Medical College has a strength.of 100-200 and most having 150 seats. EWS quota is applicable on Convenor quota which is 50% in Private Medical Colleges. And MCI has added 25 Convenor seats which means there are a total of 75 Convenor seats. So 25% of this comes upto 18 seats. Since 10 Private Medical Colleges have applied for additional seats, the additional seats available for EWS reservation are approximately 180 seats.

Tq mam! But already 190 govt seats r given for sure. So r we going to get additional 180 private seats!? Or not?

Yes. 180 is the number for Private Medical Colleges.
