Do u think 420 marks is a safe zone for getting a medical seat in karnataka under state quota(general category) in neet ug 2019?
Answer (1)
Hello student,
Yes, With a score of 420 marks, in the general category, you have chances of procuring a seat in the government medical colleges when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, a score of minimum 380 was required to fetch one a seat in the Raichur medical college, Raichur in the general category under the state quota. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. Yet, you stand on the safe zone only. However you can go through the following link to know about the cut off's and ranks for the previous years and calculate your chances of selection

Yes, even if it tends to increase, there will not be a sudden hike from 300 to 500. Just a 10-20 marks increase, if possible. So you do have a good chance at the GMCs.
Thank u. Can I get it in the first round? I know it actually depends on people but I want that rough estimation. So I want to clarify by asking if I can make it in the first round?
