Does simply registering for 12th board exam and not appearing in it count as an appearance? I was supposed to appear in my board exams in 2022, I even got admit card but didn't appear in 2022,instead I'll be appearing in 2023, will that effect my jee advanced 2024 eligibility as appearing yr matters

Hello Aspirant,
No, just by simply registering for the 12th boards doesn't mean that you have appeared for the examination. Until your marksheet is generated till that time your attempt won't be counted as an attempt.
So if you are planning to give your 12th in 2023 then your two more attempts will be in the year 2024 and 2025 and for jee advanced there will be one more attempt in the year 2024.
