Doing fashion designing in diploma.... completed 3 months in it....want to continue my first year....with 3 months.... kindly guide me on it. Thank you
Hello,
If you have completed only 3 months of your diploma in fashion designing and want to continue from the same point, you will need to contact your institute directly. Most diploma colleges do not allow mid-year rejoining unless you have a valid reason and proper approval. Some institutes may ask you to start the first year again from the beginning, while others may allow you to continue if their academic rules permit. Visit your college office, explain your situation, and request a continuation or re-admission letter. They will guide you on whether you can resume from the 3-month point or need to restart the year.
Hello,
I'm afraid you can't use your completion of 3 months of a course to directly enter into first year. 3 months are barely considered a semester. So, most of the colleges or universities prefer the candidates except for at least a year in the respective course.
You can try through the lateral entry. Any colleges that accept the candidates with clear rules that allow students either by lateral entry or the candidate must complete the course duration for at least a year to be considered.
If you still want to join,
- Apply for a transfer certificate, where they can offer a certificate for a partial 3-month study course if possible.
- Shortlist and filter the colleges or institutes, or courses you wish to join, and can contact them directly, whether they take admissions mid-semester or definitely should start as a regular freshman?
Considering the majority of the colleges ask the candidates to join from the beginning the 3-month course period is considered as a pre-course or extra value added course.
Hope it helps. Good luck.
