Hello, Mohan. The first Issue with dropping a year is that it will reduce your chances of better performance than last year. If you have got NIT, this time. If you are confident that you get good rank in her advanced. Although joining a crash course is the best option to prepare for jee advanced.
All the best!
Hi Mohan,
Since you're dropping an year, giving one more year of your life for this exam, I believe you should leave no stone unturned for the preparation. If you feel you can give your 100% without any external motivation, go for self study. Else, I'd suggest to take tutions as you'll get constant motivation to achieve your daily goals, and mentors to solve your problems too.
All the best!
Dear Mohan, if you had taken coaching during your school time and you are pretty much confident that you can crack JEE then there's no need to take coaching again. You can join test series by different coaching institutes through which you will be able to test your self.
I hadn't took coaching during my school time and I cracked JEE in my first attempt with a very good score and now I am presently studying in NSUT (previously NSIT). I preferred self studying over coaching as it takes a lot of time to go to the coaching centre and return back.
If you feel that you are lagging the concepts and you are not confident over your skills then you can join some coaching centre.
But there also it will be you who have to do hard work. They can only provide you with the materials at last it will be you who have to work hard.
All the best :)
Hope this helps :)
