During reporting.. Is it necessary that the parent has to go wth the candidate for nit /iit? ?
No, not at all brother.
Even professors/invigilators appreciate those candidtes who had come with only single guardian as it becomes easier for them to manage the crowd.
I would recommend you to come along with one of your gaurdian/parent as it would be a big day for you, so it would be great if they are besides you.
Thank You
No, the presence of the parent isn't necessary but often helpful.
But the candidate has to mandatorily be present for the physical reporting process at JoSAA counselling sessions.
Parents are often helpful because sometimes they do not allow books and bags to a particular room for document checking so taking care of you things can be tough.
No, It is not necessary. But the candidate must be present. You must reach the venue half and hour prior the admission timing with all the required document. Failing to provide any required document will lead to cancellation of the seat. However, taking your parents is a good choice as it they might act as an support system. However, parents are not required for any official work.
Good Luck
