Hi,
You havent specified for which institute or course. I am assuming that you are asking for B.Tech or B.E. Generally you have to pass Class 12 from a recognized board with Physics, Maths and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology etc. You will also have to appear for the entrance test that is specified. Most entrance tests ask for a minimum of 60% but for admissions to NITs, IITs, IIITs, a minimum of 75% is generally required.

Hello,
If you had given 12th or giving 12th this year then you are eligible to appear for any engineering entrance exam.There are exams conducted like jee mains and advanced,viteee,srmjeee,wbjee,upsee,comedk,bitsat...and many more for which you can appear for. Also to be eligible to get IITs/NITs/IIITs you have to score 75% in your 12th board exam.
