Eligibility And Admission Process
The eligibility criteria for getting admission to Christ university are:
- A composite score of 600 or above in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA in either September - 2017 / December 2017
- A composite score of 450 or above in GMAT 2017 OR 2018
- A composite score or 300 or above in GRE 2017 OR 2018
- 70 percentile or above in the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2018)
- 70 percentile or above in the Common Admission Test 2017 (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs)
- 70 percent or above in the XAT Test for Management Admissions (XAT) 2018
- 50% or above marks in aggregate in the undergraduate examinations. (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters/years of undergraduate examinations conducted so far).
But you need to know that minimum score specified for MAT / CAT / CMAT / XAT / GMAT / GRE is only an eligibility criteria and the actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process.
You also have one more big problem that you have less than 50% in the 1oth exam which will not only be a problem in getting admission in christ university but also in other colleges.
By scoring above 600 in MAT or above 70% in XAT you might get a call from Christ university but to convert it I strongly recommend to get way higher marks like 740+ in MAT and 95+ percentile in XAT to get admission in Christ University. This will help you in covering the loss due to your poor academic records and also step up on the merit list among your colleagues.
All the best!!
