    Hi Dalsuanlian! Civil engineering is a course of 3 years. It is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment including works like roads, canals and buildings.

    For admission to B.Tech  in Civil Engineering through lateral entry ,there are many colleges and universities which allow lateral entry to it B.TECH  courses in 2nd year
