Every year for a state the closing rank remains same or fluctuates for neetug?

Hello student,

The opening ranks and closing ranks for all the colleges will be changing every year and they might be nearly the same but they will not be the same.It depends on the factors like

1. number of students who appeared for the exam
2. number of student who qualified the exam
3. cutoff marks for each category
4. number of students who have reservation
5. total number of seats available in different colleges.
6. Highest marks scored in the exam (percentile)

As the opening and closing ranks depend on all these factors,

it definitely fluctuate with the amount of student scoring marks in a particular range as there are limited no. of seats so if majority of student high score then gonna fill up the seats in the respective college which actually affect the last seat score .
