Hello! As we all know that now JEE Mains is conducted two times in a year so your rank will be based on both the attempts that is of january and april attempt.
The percentile you get is always calculated shiftwise. You should also know that a 100 percentile does not means full marks but highest marks in a particular shift. Normalization will take care of the level of difficulty Now lets try to calculate your percentile which is calculated according to shift. Your percentile would be :
(No. of people having less than 208 marks in shift1/total number of students present in shift1)*100
If we consider last year data, your percentile with 208 marks can fall between 99.64888765 - 99.55273201. This percentile can vary according to change in number of appearing students or no. of people scoring less than you.
You can calculate your rank according to formula: 1+((100-P) * No. of total students appearing)/100)
where P will be your percentile.
According to last year's data your Rank will vary from 4000 to 4500
