Dear student,

In a flooded area, due to lack of sanitation and proper hygiene, many diseases are seen to outbreak. Also the stagnant water becomes a major breeding ground for mosquitoes, and adds the risk of outbreak of vector borne diseases. Thus it is very important to take up adequate measures of the health and safety of people in flood affected areas to prevent epidemic.
