For admission to NIT on home state quota the condition of 75 % aggregate in local board exam necessary?

You must fulfill either of the two below to get into NITs whether it is home state or other.

1. At least 75 percent aggregate mark in your Board exam.

2. You must be within top 20% percentile for your Board.

So, getting 75% is necessary to get into NITs.
