For Ca we have to join college?

Hello Aspirant ,

No , You don't have to join college specially for becoming CA.

The eligibiilty is as this  You need to clear your 12th standard from any recognised education board in stream (arts, science, commerce) with a minimum of 33% of marks.

After that you need to register yourself for the CA Foundation Course. The process is simple , just register yourself by filling a form that includes your personal details in the ICAI (Institute Of Charted Accountants India) website and generate a user id and password.

Then you have a study period for 4 months after your registration to appear for your exams.  Then you must fill the CA Foundation exam form to appear  for the exam . It is held twice a year in month of May and November.

This course is valid for 3 years and you can give only six attempts for it. You become eligible for intermediate level when you clear the CA foundation exams with 40 % mark in each subject or 50% aggregate .

For Intermediate level you have a study period for 9 months and the registration is valid for 4 years and you can give only 8 attempts .

The CA finals has both theory as well as practical exams and the registration here is valid for 5 years.
