thanks for asking your query as far biotechnology is considered pharmacy rank is taken under consideration.In wbjee two ranks are provided one is engineering rank and other is pharmacy rank therefore selection is based on the basis of different merit ranks.

As far as I am concerned for BTech in biotechnology you cant go with the wjee rank  they consider pharmacy rank.
