NTA provides a cut off candidate who score equivalent or above this cut off are eligible to apply for JEE advance exam . Most probably approximately top 2 lakh students give this exam. 1, 07 ,464 students are eligible from general category.
As for IITs there are total 23 Indian Institute Of technnologies and they offer a totsal of 11 , 289 seats also they offer 800 female supernumerary seats.
