• Sri Vidyanikethan Engineering College: established over 2 decades ago, it's widely regarded as one of the best autonomous engineering colleges in the region. The faculty and the quality of education is top notch. Placements, too, show an excellent track record over the past few years. However, the college is vigilant when it comes to discipline. Students have to follow a strict set of rules, the violation of which can lead to dire consequences.
• KL University: this university doesn't quite boast the same level of student reverence as SVEC. Personal reviews from Alumni suggest that faculty is sub-par and management is lacking in certain departments. Placements are good, but not quite as good as some alumni expected them to be. Overall, students suggest that opt for this university if you're unable to secure an admission into some of the top tier Universities in the country.
• GITAM University: This University is known far and wide for its excellent infrastructure in the region. The faculty is excellent in some departments and good in the very least in others. There are facilities such as libraries and city connection in the campus. However, the college fee structures are pretty hefty. Management related monetary matters can be heavy on the pocket as well. Hostels, too, are not in the mediocre money range.
