Hello Aspirant!
Listed below are the minimum criteria of eligibility required to be met by candidates aspiring to pursue the course.
A minimum aggregate score of 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates) in classes X and XII, completed from a recognized educational Board.
Candidates need to have completed the Higher Secondary education (class X) in any of science and commerce streams, with Mathematics being one of the main subjects.
At most institutes offering the course in the country, admission is offered to eligible candidates on the basis of their performance in a relevant entrance test, followed by subsequent rounds of Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
These rounds are a part of the counseling procedure, wherein candidates general aptitude for the course is examined, and a merit list is released by the institute. However, some institutes also offer admission to students on the basis of the merit obtained at the 10+2 level.
