Hello. I am currently persuing my masters (Msc.) in GIS. I want to apply for Mtech in RS and GIS from Remote Sensing Application Centre. Can one tell me the entrance paper pattern or syllabus for the same?

I hope you are doing well, Indian Institute of Remote Sensing offers M.Tech in Remote Sensing & GIS under 9 specialisations.
The eligibility for the courses are as follows:
- c andidates who have a graduate degree in B.E/B.Tech or M.Sc degree in the relevant discipline are eligible for the programme.
- Admission is based on the merit obtained in IIRS Entrance exam.
- Govt.-sponsored candidates are exempted from the entrance test.
- Foreign candidates are also exempted from entrance test but they have to appear for interview through online platforms.
For M.Tech. Entrance Examination
1. Basic Science
- 25 marks
- 25 questions
- 25 Min.
2. Basic Mathematics
- 25 marks
- 25 Ques
- 40 Min.
3 General knowledge, Aptitude
Test and Reasoning
- 25 marks
- 25 ques
- 30 Min.
4. Optional Themes/Specialisation
(any one of the eight, as per
your choice):

- Forest Resources &
- Ecosystem Analysis

The candidates have to select only one optional theme/specialisation paper for the examination, out of the 8 themes, given at serial No. 4.
The candidates who qualify the Entrance Exam have to appear for Interview on the subsequent day(s) at the examination center where they have appeared in the entrance exam.
For the syllabus you will have to check the official website since I'm not aware of what specialisations you are of if u mention it I could helps you our more.
