hello i applied for Mphil English(as 1st choice) 2nd linguistics 3rd cinema studies. now what to study for entrance?

Hey,
According to me you should study for entrance exam of MPhil English as it is your 1st choice . You should give your 100% in this so that you don't need any other option.
For entrance exam of MPhil English, you should be aware of current issues, problems and methods of English language teaching in global scenario. They test candidate's competence in the language. You should have good knowledge of English literature and knowledge of various aspects of linguistics and stylistics are also desirable.
As you have to learn about linguistics so because of this entrance exam you will also be prepared for linguistics exam .
