Hello, I was born on 23/07/1998. But I'm a Married female. Will I be eligible to attend CDS1 and 2?

According to the eligibility criteria of the Combined Defence Services Examination, women can only apply to OTA Chennai. The foremost condition before age criteria is to be an unmarried, divorcee widow. Candidates who are between the age of 19-25 years can apply for it. You qualify the age criteria but your marital status makes you ineligible for both CDS 1 and CDS 2 Exams.

Apart from age criteria, candidates need to meet the following conditions:

Nationality

applicants taking the CDS exam in 2022 must be

a citizen of India, or

a refugee from Tibet (before to January 1962), or

a subject for Bhutan or Nepal, or

migrants from Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and the East African nations of Kenya and Uganda, as well as Pakistan, Burma, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, and Ethiopia.
