It depends on your personal choice.
Management requires good understanding of people psychology and you need good soft skills.
In engineering especially you need to be upto date on latest technologies and you need to be good at logical understand and analytical thinking. If you want to take engineering there are also other branches like chemical, Biotechnology, mechanical etc.., which offer good job opportunities.
Also keep your families economic background before taking a decision.
