Hello, regarding Nativity for admission to MBBS thru NEET. I studied in Tamilnadu upto 12th STD. Parents are native of other state but own a house in TN (over 10 yrs). I have not taken nativity certificate for TN. Is it mandatory? If so, should I take before exam or admission?

My daughter studied 1st to 12th in Telangana. But she was born in TN. We both parents were also born in TN. We also own house in TN. But she doesnt have nativity certificate. So we uploaded her birth certificate while uploading certificates in TNEA. Will it be considered??

If you have been born in Tamilnadu and studied until your 12th in Tamilnadu, then younare called a Bonafide resident of Tamilnadu. In such case you do not need a nativity certificate. But if you do not belong to Tamilnadu but completed all your education here even then you do not need Nativity certificate because you completed all your education here. But according to https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/tamil-nadu-mbbs-admission if you do not belong to Tamilnadu, then you can only get admission under General Quota if you have studied from 6th to 12th here. So please help us with your situation.
