Yes, you will get admission only after you clear your back paper. it is eligibility criteria in even private college then candidate must have cleared 12th from recognized board.
Give your best and clear your exam in one go. You can go for different streams. You can go for merit-based admission for degree like BA, BSc, BCom, BBA. if you go for top college then there will be screening test. If you go for private or government college then you will get admission on the basis of your percentage. Colleges have percentage bar as cutoff to select candidates. you have to satisfy it.
if you want to go for Engineering then you have to give entrance exam like JEE mains, state engineering entrance or University entrance exam for engineering. if you have not applied for present year then you will have to wait and apply next year. same goes for Medical and law. date for application is passed for these streams.
if you don't want waste one year then go for BA, BSc, BCom, BBA. There are many specialized streams under these degree. you can choose as per your interest.
