hello this is megha i got 12000 rank in sc category in jee mains would i be able to get an NIT ??

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you holds very low chances of getting any of the NITs as per previous year's cut-offs but yes you can try for some lower NITs if you deserves their home state quota otherwise I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
