Hello....i want to know what is the difference between domicile and bonafide ?
Hello Aspirant,
It seems like you are confused between the two certificates namely Domicile Certificate and Bonafide Certificate. It's a very common query for many to understand their differences.
• Domicile : (meaning) The place or country of residence which is legally or officially recognized.
Domicile Certificate: A Domicile/ Residence certificate is issued to prove that the person bearing the certificate is a domicile/resident of the state /union territory from where the certificate is issued. It is more like a certificate of your permanent residence i.e. living in a same place for more than 5 years or so.
• Bonafide : (meaning) real or genuine
Bonafide Certificate: A bonafide certificate is a document issued to prove that a person belonged to a particular educational institution for a certain period of time for a specific course of study. It is a proof that that person was a student who studied in that institution for a certain course duration.
I hope this information helps you. Good luck!
