Most of the universities follow these guidelines for migration from one university to another.
- Vacancy of seats in the target college
- IIMT Greater Noida and the target university must allow inter-university migration. Usually, migration is only allowed within the same state or the same affiliating body ( AKTU /UPTU/ GGSIPU ).
- For some universities,s only a few seats are reserved for migration, often 5–10% of total intake per branch.
