Hi reader ,

No , you would not be alloted a college lower to the alloted to you in second round during upgradation if there are no seats in the upper choices. the college you were alloted in round one will be retained.

suppose you filled 10 chances and are alloted choice no. 7 in round one . if you opt for upgradation then you will be upgraded to anyone from your top 6 choices subjected to fact that seats are left in them.
