Hi I got 57% aggregate in degree and one year drop so is there any problem to get IIT or NIT or PSU?
Jayesh percentage of your respective degree doesn't matter in the GATE entrance exam , only as per the eligibility criteria they need the just passed out degree , nothing more than that , since as you said you have taken a one year drop then in such cases also there might be not any problem for you to take admission in the Government Institutions via GATE entrance exam . Only the thing in which you need to focus is to improve your GATE valid score .
All the best
Hi dear,
The cutoff varies from 60to 70 percent for general or obc and 50 to 60 percent for sc and St candidate for most of the PSUs.First you should score a good marks in gate then you will receive a letter for personal interview after that they decide you are eligible or not.
Hope it helps
