JEE Main Percentile v/s NTA score

One more thing to understand is JEE Main percentile and NTA score is the same thing. Candidates who have confusion can get an understanding from below.

Candidates will come across three terms – Raw marks, NTA marks, and Percentile.

Let us say the maximum marks of the examination is 300 and nine candidates have obtained 250 out of 300. Here, 250 marks is the raw marks.

ow, suppose a total of hundred candidates appeared in the JEE Main. Then the percentile and NTA score will be calculated by –

Raw score obtained by candidates = 250

Number of candidates obtained same raw score = 9

Total number of candidates taken the exam = 100

Then the NTA score or JEE Main percentile will be = 100 – 9 that is 91.
