Hi there, of course, you are very much eligible. The eligibility criteria for B Tech CSE is +2 in science stream with PCM with at least 60 percent marks. If you fulfill that criteria then you can appear for LPUNEST. Hope this helps. Good Luck

Yes, you can definitely get admission in B.Tech CSE at LPU with subject to qualifying eligibility condition.

Eligibility criteria of this course for 2020 freshers says: Pass with 60% aggregate in 12th (with Maths, Physics, and English) with subject to qualifying LPU NEST exam. LPU NEST exam will be exempted if you get 90 or above 90% in 12th similarly 90 or above 90 percentile in the JEE exam.

You can avail of maximum scholarship benefits based on various categories that LPU offers like qualification percentage/JEE exam percentile/lpunest score or if you fall in any other better category of scholarship. This time I heard due to covid situation relax some norms like LPU allows students to reserve their seats first by taking admission and then ask candidates to go for LPU NEST exam slot booking and exam which is a good initiative.

LPUNEST applications are still filling up online.Better visit LPU website or talk to LPU counselor first for guidance.

I would like to tell you if you are planning to apply now in 2020 admisison session then your 1 year gap after 12th will not create any problem if you have genuine reason of gap.

Admissions for 2020 admission session are ongoing and will end up soon by 30th November.You still have the chance to reserve your seat in your desired programme.

Congrats you got 71% in your boards. Now to apply for B.Tech CSE in academic session 2020-21 you need to meet eligibility criteria and admission criteria of this programme at LPU.

Eligibility criteria says ---Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or JEE Mains.

For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.
*5% relaxation in eligibility will be given to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants
*10% relaxation in eligibility will be given  to outstanding Sports Persons (i.e. A/A+ category as per Sports Scholarship (https://www.lpu.in/scholarship/scholarship-on-the-basis-of-performance-in-sports.php) ), Subject to verification from Selection committee* of the University

Note:- In case the applicant falls in both categories, then only one relaxation in eligibility will be given.

* Selection committee will be comprising of Head (DSW), Director Sports, Dy. Director Sports, Concerned Coach and VC Nominee.

During the special schedule of counselling, merit in LPUNEST 2020 (January Schedule) or JEE Mains (January Schedule) will be considered, subject to eligibility criteria.
