Of course, According to last year opening and closing rank, you are eligible to get a seat at NIT Trichy. Maybe you can get the branch according to your choice but you can get some good branch.

Hi Devika well 196 are too good to get admission but you will not get good branch of your own choice so go for counselling .Other then this you can also try for some private universities. Placements are far better in private universities rather then in NIT
