Hello Mam, as you have mentioned that your son will appear for NEET 2021, which is going to be held on 12 september 2021. The procedure for your query are mentioned below, please read it carefully.
1. Firstly fill the application form of NEET 2021 from the official website i.e. www.neet.nta.nic.in before 6 August 2021.
2. The form which is filled here is Phase-A of the NEET 2021. The Phase-B of NEET 2021 will be announced by the NTA website.
3. The Phase-B of NEET 2021 will be completed before the exam (i.e. 12 sept 2021). You have to check your registered e-mail id & NTA website for latest update.
4. After the result of NEET 2021, if your child cracked the exam with good marks and required cut-off, you are eligible for Counselling.
5. Admissions to all seats of Undergraduate Medical / Dental Courses will be done through NEET (UG) - 2021. The following are the seats available under different quotas:
i. All India Quota Seats
ii. State Government Quota Seats
iii. Central Institutions/Universities/Deemed Universities
iv. State/Management/NRI Quota Seats in Private Medical / Dental
Colleges or any Private University
v. Central Pool Quota Seats
vi. All seats including NRI Quota as well as Management Quota, in private
unaided/aided minority / non-minority medical colleges.
vii. AIIMS Institutes across India/JIPMER.
6. The Counselling for successful candidates for Seats under 15% All India Quota and 100% including 85% State quota seats of Central Institutions (ABVIMS & RML Hospital/VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital/ESIC)/ Central Universities (including DU/ BHU /AMU)/ AIIMS/ JIPMER and Deemed Universities, will be conducted by the MCC/DGHS for Undergraduate Medical / Dental Courses.
7. The counselling for admission to the seats under the control of State Governments / UT Administrations / State Universities/ Institutions shall be conducted by the designated authorities of the State Governments as per the notifications issued separately by the authorities concerned.
8. An All India Merit List of the qualified candidates shall be prepared on the basis of All India Rank in the Merit List of the NEET (UG) - 2021 and candidates shall be admitted to Undergraduate Medical Courses.
9. Admission to Undergraduate Medical Courses within the respective categories shall be based solely on All India Rank as per merit list of NEET (UG) - 2021.
10. Admission to 15% All India Quota, shall be as per the provisions of the Statutory Regulation of MCI/NMC/DCI, the judgments of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the procedure prescribed by the MCC under the DGHS.
11. Similarly, for admission to 85%, State Quota shall be also as per the provisions of the Statutory Regulations of MCI/NMC/DCI, the judgments of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the prescribed rules and regulations by the State/Union Govt. or its designated authority.
