getting residence certificate has some benefits as you wil be considered local candidate of that state and it wil be helpful to get scholarship from government and also obtain admission in educational institutions under certain quotas etc

Eligibility criteria to apply for residence or domicile certificate in telegana are listed below.

Permanent resident of the Telengana can only apply for residence certificate.

Residents of last seven years in Telengana are eligible to obtain residence certificate.

If a woman does not originally belonging to Telengana, but married a man who is a permanent resident of the telengana, then she will be eligible to apply for residence certificate.
