Both the courses are very good career choice as both the fields pave a bright career in the future with lucrative job and rewarding salaries. Students often get confused between these two subjects. Before you choose any one of them let me give you a brief overview which will help you choose more easily.
Bca: it is a 3 year ug course in applications of computer science. It mainly focuses on coding, programming and their application in everyday life. The functions of the hardware and technical side is not much focused upon. Web development, mobile app development and multimedia is in the curriculum. It is a good course teaching you about the basics of computer programming
Bsc in computer science: it teaches you what is computer science building a strong base of the subjects rather than only its application. It is more concept oriented rather than application oriented. A good understanding of computer helps you learn new things faster. It dives deep teaching you how a program runs inside a computer
Bca does not provide you in depth knowledge where as bsc in computer science will give you in depth conceptual understanding. Bsc will not shine much spotlight on the new technologies and their applications. Candidates who are from arts, commerce or science can join bca but for bsc a intermediate certificate with maths is a must.
Both the fields provide good jobs with bca providing 2.4 to 5 lpa and bsc in computer science providing 3 to 6 lpa and increases with experience

BCA is definitely a better course as it is more into today's technology and innovations whereas BSC Computer science focuses mostly on concepts. But getting into a good college where you get the advanced computers and features is important for BCA. So choose your college wisely.
