Hello,
It doesn't matter what you choose if your ultimate aim is to go for Civil services. Because the eligibility creteria is to have a bachelor's degree. So now if you want to do Civil services then go for Bsc so that you have less pressure and more time to study and if you are not sure about Civil services then go for Btech because in case you change your mind about civil services then btech will at least provide you good skills so that you can find a good job. Thanks and all the best to you
Hi gamit ,
The basic educational eligibility for applying to civil services exam is candidate should have a graduation degree from a recognized institution.
The graduation degree could be of any stream there is no restrictions. So you can do either B.Sc or engineering you will be eligibile to apply.
So you should choose that course which you will lIke to do the most.
Here is a brief comparison of both the courses to help you out in selecting -
- Course duration -b.sc is a three years btech /B.E -4 years
- What will you learn - In bsc you will learn basic theories and principal of science. In engineering you will learn applicative part of it .
- Fee - The fee depend on The college whether it is government or private, the subject or specialization you select.
- There are many such other factors which you can list out yourself.
Think abou your intrest, aptitude, and resources available and then select the course which you like.
