GATE examination eligibility criteria says that you must have passed graduation in engineering or technology or should have a Masters degree in any relevant science subject to be eligible for GATE examination
There's no minimum percentage barrier to be eligible for GATE examination, also there is no limit for GATE examination.
So, Yes with MSC chemistry degree you are eligible for GATE examination.
