For admissions to B.Tech. courses, you first need to pass 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as your main subjects. Then, you need to clear  the entrance examination of  the college you want to join.

For example, if you answer JEE-Mains and secure a very good percentile, you can get admissions in NIT, IIITs and GFITs. If you want admissions in IITs, you need to clear JEE-Mains and rank in the top 3000 in JEE-Advanced. Other prestigious institutes like MIT, VIT, BITS etc. conduct their own entrance examinations.
