Your question is not complete as you have not mentioned the name of State in which you want to take admission. But generally State government engineering colleges have their own entrance examinations on basis of which the admissions are done in affiliating colleges.So students appeared for respective state examination once cleared apply for state conducted counselling process on basis of which they get admission.
