MHT CET or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance exam conducted for admission into Engineering and Allied Health Sciences courses in Maharashtra.
Admission to most veterinary colleges is given on the basis of results obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the concerned universities. Veterinary Council of India conducts an All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT) for admission to first year of Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) & Animal Husbandry (AH) degree course for filling up seats of each veterinary college of all states including colleges in Maharashtra.
