How is counseling done for various Universities? How do we know that We can go for counseling in a particular University? Do they release Rank or something else?

For counseling - University release a notice regarding counseling and how you can apply for it

For this continuesly check University website

Generally the counseling done in part 1st 2nd and if needed 3rd and 4th and there is cut off marks or rank for applying for that counseling

Some time University condect open counseling in this everyone who has +ve mark can apply for this

Then top marks holder according to category are selected for admission

Colleges and Universities take out merit lists if you have applied in them, before counselling. Those selected in the merit list can appear in the counseling. Also, referring to the previous year's cut-off ranks can help a person decide whether to go for the counselling or not. It helps students know whether they can/can't get their desired branch.

The counselling process is simple, but long-

• Once selected in the merit list, you go to the college on the day of the counselling with the required forms and documents.
• Then the students are called up in ascending order ranks to select their desired branches.
• After being called, you submit your documents, freeze the branch and pay the fees.
