How is IIBS Bangalore for a PGDM in 2028

If you are considering IIBS Bangalore (International Institute of Business Studies) for PGDM in 2028, I would rate it as a reasonable mid-tier private B-school option, but I would not choose it blindly only because of its advertised highest package.

My view of IIBS for 2028

Positive things about IIBS Bangalore:

• The PGDM is a 2-year full-time programme and IIBS states that its PGDM is AICTE-approved and AIU-approved/equivalent to an MBA.
• It offers specialisations such as Finance, Marketing, HR, Business Analytics, Operations, IT, International Business, AI & ML, Data Science, etc.
• IIBS reports 8.75 lakh average salary and 48 lakh highest salary for its 2023–25 MBA batch. However, these figures are institution-reported and should not be interpreted as what every PGDM student will earn.

The Bangalore location can be useful for internships and corporate exposure.

The important point for 2028:

• You are planning for 2028, so don't rely on today's placement numbers or today's fee structure. They can change substantially by then.
