How is M.Tech civil in specialization infratructure engg. from Thapar (TIET) and what are the placement scenario and future scope?

If you consider my suggestion then please don't do Mtech from any Universities other than IIT's or Top NIT's. I am not saying that Thapar is bad or something like that but still you are going for 'Masters'. Just for the sake of namesake if you want then you can do but you won't be able to explore the research oriented field.
Again you will be placed in some xyz companies where you will be doing the same job which you could have done after your btech.
