Actually the whole process depends upon some factors like total number of students time slot difficulty of the paper the score etc.
The marks to percentile process is quite complex.
There is a common rule like
Total percentile= 100*(total number of students appeared in the particular slot with raw score equal to or less than the respective student / total number of candidate appeared in the slot)
