If two or more candidates score the same marks in
MET
, the inter-se merit will be decided in the following order of preference:
1. Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics will be ranked higher
2. Candidates who has higher marks in Physics will get a higher rank
3. If tie continues, marks in Chemistry will be considered
4. A tie at this stage will be decided on the basis of PCM marks obtained in 10+2
5. If there is still a deadlock, the candidate senior in age will be ranked higher
