In 2017, around 11.4 lakh candidates registered for NEET, 10.9 lakh candidates appeared for the exam and 6.11 lakh candidates cleared the examination. It is expected the numbers will be similar to this or slightly higher for NEET 2018.

A total of 11,38,890 students had appeared for the NEET, out of which 6,11,539 have passed the medical entrance examination which was held on May 7, 2017.
