Hello Aspirant,
There are a total of 16,053 seats available in 23 IITs. This year out of 43,204 students who qualified JEE Advanced a total of 6,707 are girls. 50% seats are available for general category and this year govt. has declared 20% supernumerary seats apart from the general seats . Last year 23 girls made their way into top 500 spots.
